Macan Turbo: Fuel consumption combined 9.8 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions combined 224 g/km

The range-topping status of the Macan Turbo requires no explanation, thanks to its emphatically dominant look. Its bespoke front end has a smaller overhang, for an overall length of 4,684 mm, which means the Turbo is now 12 mm shorter than other Macan models. The three-part air intakes are embedded in a striking design, while the higher front light modules differentiate the Turbo at night. There are also more body-coloured features than on other Macan models.

As found on every Porsche Turbo model, the headlights feature a double line in the raised front light modules, with a separation of the position light and direction indicator. The driver’s view after dark is enhanced by the standard Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). The LED headlights have an output of 35 watts, are equipped with cornering lights and automatically switch between main and dipped beam. The optionally available PDLS Plus dynamically adapts the headlight range and includes a junction light function.

Porsche Macan Turbo

In profile, the new flagship model stands out particularly thanks to its burnished 20-inch Macan Turbo wheels in Dark Titanium, with the Porsche crest in colour at their centres. Widened arches above the rear wheels increase the car’s width by three millimetres to 1,926 mm, compared to other Macan models. The standard Sport Design door mirrors, along with numerous other exterior features, are body-coloured on the Turbo, and the rear double-wing roof spoiler and twin tailpipes of the standard sports exhaust system are unique to the range-topping model. A body-coloured lower section rounds off the styling at the rear.

The centre and side seat panels trimmed in leather on all seats

The Macan Turbo is particularly well equipped. Adaptive sports seats with 18-way adjustment and comfort memory package are fitted as standard, with the centre and side seat panels trimmed in leather on all seats. Other leather interiors in different colours are available as an option and further personalisation is possible through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The high-quality ambience is enhanced by the Alcantara headlining and the brushed aluminium interior package. The link to the 911 is provided by the optional, 360 mm-diameter heated GT sports steering wheel, which can be trimmed in either leather or Alcantara. Keen drivers will also appreciate the optional Sport Chrono Package with integrated mode switch in the steering wheel and Sport Response button.

Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with a 10.9-inch full HD touchscreen is fully networked as standard and connected to a BOSE® Surround Sound system. Its 14 loudspeakers are controlled via 14 amplifier channels with a total output of 665 watts. As with the other variants of the Macan, PCM includes online navigation with real-time traffic information via Here Cloud, mobile phone preparation, two audio interfaces and intelligent voice control. Other standard features include: Porsche Connect Plus, which comes with an LTE telephone module, an integrated SIM card and a slot for an external SIM card, as well as a Wi-Fi hotspot and numerous Porsche Connect services.

The Porsche Car Connect App offers access to selected vehicle functions via smartphone. Security Services help to protect the vehicle against theft and, in a worst-case scenario, to find it again. Remote locking, emergency breakdown call and accident alarm functions further enhance security and safety. The extensive options list now includes a smartphone tray with wireless charging function according to the Qi-standard. A heated windscreen can also be specified, as can an ioniser which, in conjunction with the fine particulate air filter fitted as standard, improves the cabin air quality.

Offroad Precision App

With the Offroad Precision App, Porsche gives Macan drivers the chance to document, analyse and improve their off-road journeys. The Trip area functions in the same way as popular running apps for mobile phones. All relevant information (driver, vehicle, route, times, GPS data) is automatically stored when recording is activated. Route and elevation profiles are automatically calculated from this, which can then be viewed on a map later. At the same time, the journey can be recorded as a video either using a smartphone or an externally controlled action cam, and the trips shared in social media using the sharing function. In the Personal Progress app mode, the individual driver performance is rewarded with a bonus system. In a tutorial, the app provides novice off-road drivers with detailed basic knowledge on how to drive a Macan across more challenging terrain. The tutorial also contains an overview of off-road centres, where drivers can acquire initial experience in off-road driving in a safe environment
